Forge museum and the Pietro Malossi house museum

The village of Ome is located in Franciacorta and the forge museum and Pietro Malossi House Museum are found in the Averoldi house.The Benedictine Monks introduced the water well to operate mills and hammers used for iron working and weapon production. The forge museum, which houses an imposing 2 quintal mallet, is still in working order and used for forging demostrations. While in the house, dedicated to the engraver Pietro Malossi, there is an important collection of weapons, paintings and prints.
