What we will see

The ancient village of Bienno hosts two important museums. The Benedictine Monks introduced the water well to operate mills and hammers used for iron working and weapon production. The forge museum, which houses an imposing 2 quintal mallet, is still in working order and used for forging demostrations and the mill museum still grinds cereal today which also houses the museum of peasant life.
