Desenzano

A tour of the historical centre through Malvezzi Square, the small port in a Venetian style, the medieval castle, and the Duomo, which houses the last supper by GianDomenico Tiepolo. This tour finishes in the Roman villa where you will discover its beautiful mosaic floors with different geometrical and figurative polychromic subjects.The Roman villa of Desenzano was built between the Ist century. B.C. and the 5th century A.D. There are five sections, the representative section, the residence section, and the residence section and spa section and finally the access to the lake. The guided tour ends in the Antiquarium Museum where it is possible to find Roman remains, fragments of statues and frescoes which were uncovered during the archaeological excavtion of this area.
